Rec(cord)mmend Five

Today's post is another fortnightly five songs but this time I've been given five recommendations of what I should listen to and I'll be giving my honest opinions on them.

STARSTRUCK - YEARS & YEARS

It definitely sounds more like an Olly Alexander, instead of them as band (since they have recently broken up) so you can tell he’s changed the style of Years & Years for this song. A cool, upbeat dance summer song has great vibes.

RATING: 7/10

WOULD YOU - THE VAMPS

This song is okay, but I’m not overly impressed with it. If it came on in a playlist I would probably play it but I wouldn’t choose to put it on by choice. I think it sounds very different to how they usually sound so maybe it’s a bit discomforting.

YESTERDAY - LOYLE CARNER

This song is very good, I think his voice is kind of being overshadowed by the backing vocals, and the track, but I still really enjoyed this!

PEACHES - JUSTIN BIEBER (FEAT. DANIEL CAESAR AND GIVEON)

What a beautiful song, I’ve finally listened to all the way through after hearing it all over my social media. This trio is insane and I’m definitely going to have this song on repeat; like the rest of the world right now.

COOLI - EL LONDO & ASHBECK

Compared to listening to one of their songs before, this on is definitely making me like both artists more. This song had sick flow and I love this style of chill rap.
